Fire Alarm Activation

The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 8:56 a.m. to a commercial learning facility following a fire alarm activation. The alarm was triggered by a pull station.

A member of the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to the alarm by personal vehicle. Somerset 911 reported that students had evacuated the building, but it was soon determined the alarm was false.

272 arrived on scene and spoke with building officials. The alarm was reset and students were allowed to return to their rooms. The situation was declared all clear.

272 canceled any further response and cleared the scene.
