Rescue Engine 202 also responded, staffed by Chief Engineer Nelson and five firefighters.

Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Paro assumed command of the incident. Crews worked alongside EMS personnel to remove the individual from the water using a stokes basket and transferred the patient to Marine 2.
