Landing Zone

Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to assist Lower Somerset EMS with establishing a landing zone at the Crisfield Airport.

Engine 203 responded with Assistant Chief Cavanaugh and four firefighters. Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Cavanaugh established command.

Paramedic 801 arrived on scene, followed by the safe landing of Trooper 4. Fire crews assisted EMS personnel with transferring the patient to the helicopter. Once the situation was under control and Trooper 4 lifted off and departed, command was terminated. Engine 203 and Paramedic 801 cleared the scene and returned to their stations.
