Automatic Fire Alarm Activation

The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 1 a.m. this morning following a reported automatic fire alarm activation in a residential building complex.

Engine 203 responded to the scene with Assistant Chief Paro and three firefighters.

Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Paro noted no visible signs of fire or smoke from the exterior of the building. He established command and began investigating the situation. After making contact with the occupant, it was determined that the alarm was false and all individuals were safe.

Assistant Chief Paro declared the situation under control and terminated command. Engine 203 then returned to the station.
