Smoke Detector Activation |

| At 11:53 PM, the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was called to a residence following a report by occupants of a smoke detector activation. Engine 203 responded to the scene with Captain Lee and three firefighters. On arrival, firefighters observed no signs of smoke or fire from the outside of the home. Captain Lee assumed command and began an investigation. After speaking with the residents, it was confirmed that all smoke detectors in the residence had activated. No hazards were identified during the inspection, and the cause was determined to be a malfunction. All conditions were found to be safe. Command was concluded and Engine 203 returned to the station. |
