| The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 7:24 PM for a reported vehicle accident with possible entrapment near Maryland Avenue and Wynfall Avenue.
Chief Pruitt responded in Command 2. Rescue Engine 202 arrived with Captain Lee and five firefighters. Ladder 2 responded with Assistant Chief Paro and two firefighters. Ambulance A800 and Paramedic A802 were also on scene.
Upon arrival, command was established and it was determined that there was no entrapment. The incident involved a two-vehicle collision. Rescue Engine 202 staged in the middle of the intersection, while Ladder 2 staged in the turn lane. Maryland Avenue was closed by the Crisfield Police Department. Station 3 was canceled. EMS transported two people by ambulance.
The roadway was cleared and both vehicles were moved to reopen traffic. The incident was brought under control in approximately 45 minutes.
Command was terminated, and all fire and EMS units cleared and returned to service. The Crisfield Police Department remained on scene awaiting a tow company.
