Fire Alarm Activation

The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was alerted at 12:52 p.m. for a reported commercial fire alarm activation involving a second-floor elevator smoke detector and a pull station.

Shortly after the initial alert, a second dispatch was received from Somerset 911 indicating that the alarm company reported the incident to be a false alarm. The station was subsequently canceled for the response.
