The station was dispatched to an electrical hazard following a report of a utility pole struck by lightning, which resulted in damage to the pole. Chief Pruitt responded in Command 2, while Lieutenant Evans and three firefighters responded in Engine 203.

On arrival, Chief Pruitt established command and began investigating the incident. Engine 203 arrived and was directed by the command to stage near the command unit.

Delmarva Power was requested to respond to the scene. After a thorough assessment, it was determined that the situation was safe and no additional fire department services were required.

Command was concluded and all units returned to service.
