Structure Fire

The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 7:44 p.m. for a reported structure fire, identified as a rekindle, in the 2900 block of Brydtown Road.

Engine 203 responded with Lieutenant Hinman and five firefighters. Tanker 2 responded with Chief Engineer Nelson and one firefighter, while Brush 204 was staffed by Captain Holland and three firefighters. These units responded from Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department. From Marion Volunteer Fire Department, Engine 306 responded with 357 and two firefighters.

Engine 203 was the first to arrive. Lieutenant Hinman established command and reported a small fire visible at the scene, leading to the cancellation of additional incoming units from other stations. Tanker 2 arrived and staged behind Engine 203, while Brush 204 staged on the roadway.

Fire crews performed a thorough wet down, bringing the situation under control within approximately 20 minutes. Command was then terminated and all units returned to the station.
