| At 4:24 p.m., the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the 60 block of Richardson Avenue for a fuel spill at a convenience store. Rescue Engine 202 responded with Captain Curtis and seven firefighters. Command 2 responded with Captain Lee. Rescue Engine 202 arrived at the location, where Captain Curtis established command and began an investigation. Command 2 also arrived on scene. After a brief investigation, the fuel spill was covered with an absorbent material to contain the fuel and ensure the area was safe. The situation was declared under control. Command was terminated, and Rescue Engine 202 and Command 2 cleared the scene and returned to quarters. |
