Smoke Detector Activation

The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 1:43 AM for a smoke detector activation at a residential apartment complex.

Engine 203 responded, staffed by Assistant Chief Paro and five firefighters.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported nothing visible from the exterior. Assistant Chief Paro established command and began investigating. Firefighters made contact with the occupants, who confirmed everything was okay and were unsure of the cause for the alarm. The situation was brought under control.

The command was terminated, and Engine 203 cleared the scene and returned to the station.
