A water rescue occurred at Somers Cove after reports were received of a person who had fallen from a boat into the water. Marine 2 responded with Chief Pruitt and three firefighters, while Brush 204 arrived with Assistant Chief Paro and three firefighters. Rescue Engine 202 also responded, staffed by Chief Engineer Nelson and five firefighters.

Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Paro assumed command of the incident. Crews worked alongside EMS personnel to remove the individual from the water using a stokes basket and transferred the patient to Marine 2. Once safely on shore, EMS began medical treatment and transported the patient to a medical facility.

After the situation was brought under control, command was terminated. All units cleared the scene and returned to service.
